Well, it happened today, I finally got one of those deals you just can't believe!!! Headed to our local show and I scored big! I got a 57 rj with most parts except for a motor, including a working brake kit. Now I have all the parts to get mine going. Did I mention it was 100 bucks, and I did not even haggle on the price!!! I also got a pre 62 dump cart for 10 dollars!! The dump cart needs all new sheet metal, its pretty much shot, but for 10 bucks I was going to rescue it! Here are pics, When I get them back from the show on sunday I'll get better pics. Jake

Hi all, just wanted to add my name to the list of new to me Wheel Horse owners. I've lived over at MTF for several years and have one of those green and yellow LT thingies. I've always lusted for a true GT, with the WH classics, Case, and IH Cubs high on my list. Last week my neighbor approached me with an offer to buy his '88 312-8, with 42" rear discharge deck and a single stage snow blower. For just $300 I jumped at the chance, picked it up on Tuesday and have been searching the net for info every since, which led me here. steve

Hello, I am new here but this is a great forum!! I inhereted my Grandfathers '69 electro 12, which worked great for years. Eventually reverse got slower and slower . I found a pdf file on this site for trouble shooting and repair of the sundstrand hydro gear. I followed the procedure and found the springs in the reverse valve trashed. The ones for the forward valve only had a couple coils broken off....... Does anyone know of a source for these springs? Thanks! Steve

Hey all on the Forum, Today I met Tom - tomwh1971, I didn't realize he only lives 25 minutes from me. He had a fender I was looking for and I went to pick it up. I found out during conversation that he is the gentleman who ended up with Max's tractor. He has memorial stickers on his truck, and is very passionate about helping raise the extra money in Max's name when Max fell short before he passed away. He brought up something that I had noticed myself, there are 6200 current members on Redsquare, 360 of which were on the site today alone. But yet only 120 or so of us have signed up and pledged $10 to Max's charity, even with the chance of winning the signed book. I was also one that hadn't pledged any money, times were tough, and I had other more important things that the money needed to go to. But one night a week ago I saw the link and clicked on it. I pledged my $10 even if it meant I couldn't eat lunch the next two days. I also went on to donate an additional amount of money, we all should do what we can. I know its $10, but it's ONLY $10. After a couple days you won't miss the money, but forever you will remember how you helped this boy finalize his dream. Lets have a big push before the Indiana show, that Tom will be attending, to show our support. Thanks John Chady

Here is my poor mans trellis for the sugar snap peas. Just used some cane that grows on the property with some twine tied between them for the vines to follow.

That sure is a nice little lawn roller! Its For sure a true Wheel Horse Roller. You can see the exact roller on the back of an early 58 brochure and also on a 35 brochure. They were carried over from the walk behinds.

Well ya all know of my little C-251 project (Wisconsin V-4) well them old V-4's only turn about 2400 RPM so according to the calculator with stock tires I need about an 8 inch pulley on the motor to do 13.3 mph 98% of drivers when on a snowy road and heading for a ditch yell "Holy S#$%" the other 2% are from Michigan and say "Hold my beer and watch this"
