Here are pictures that I took last week at Evansville's Tractor Show. I know others have posted their pictures, but since everyone loves pictures (of Wheel Horses), here they are.... Heck, some of the pictures are probably your tractors!

New Guy here, invited by Bow Tie from GT Talk site. I'm new to WH and never really wanted one too bad and didn't pay much attention. Then I got a trade on a B-80. I''ve also bought a Charger 12 sight unseen from pictures only, hope it is what it is said to be. Will get that later. I see much of the parts of these are similar on all models, even later ones with diff sheet metals. I now have some manuals to study. My tractor doesn't have the flip-up seat pan and I think I would like that, so will be looking for many parts to change over. Hope it can be done fairly easy. The dash support and seat back hinge area looks like it will be needed, probly the hardest part to find? I want to put on the latch and have seat springs that are the long ones. Guess the fender pan will need to be changed also. Parts tractor maybe needed??? I'm from Huntington, IN 46750 south of FT. Wayne. Work at GM truck plant there and dabble in GT's and MM bigger tractors. I like Power Kings, have a Snapper/Massey 1650, a Sears ST12, JD light lawn tractor also. Have had other SEars and Masseys in past, and lots of PK's. Have MM RTI, JT, ZB, BG Avery models.

Without a serial tag there is no way to truely know. It is well documented that WH was using "RJ-58" serial tags well into the 59 model year. Like most the one you looked at was a RJ-58 manufactured in 1959, most likely lat 1959.

Here's the pics I took of the Wheel Horses at the LeSeuer show, I forgot the camera the next two days so I missed some of people, as well as the rest of the show. Have to be better about that next year. Some recognizable Red Square presence at the show... joebob, mikewilliams, ole550, stevesarus's 502 (didn't get a pic of Steve) and Dale's NOS plow that's still for sale. Made a lot of contacts with local people again this year and should have an even better turn out next year.

First thing to look at is the 9 pin connector that plugs the engine into the chassis (in front of the battery).

You are down playing this with your answer Jason. You should say it like this::: "IT MEANS I HAVE ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS AND AN "S" ON MY CHEST...CAPE IS OPTIONAL".

Thanx for the Congrats guys here are some of the long awaited photos. Delivered by the great big Fraikin lorry Great name for a delivery company I dont think i will be doing to much with the tractor on saturday as once again the British weather has stopped any play. hopefully Sunday will be a bit better so i may be able to de dust & degrease etc. I owe a big thank you to Glen pettit for his help in getting this tractor to me and also chris sutton for giving me the details of the shipping company that he used to ship his tractors. Joe Papke was a great guy to do business with and a true Gentlemen . As i said before i dont think that i am going to repaint this one , well not in the immediate future anyway as i do like the original look. I will also be asking some of the other RJ owners some questions in the coming months so apologies now for driving you mad with the questions hope you enjoy some of the pics There was also a nice suprise of a Kohler hat 7 a set of Rj decals from joe as a gift which was most unexoected & kind of him

I use the Case/IH paints on my Molines and others and like it best for finish. I use the 1250 red for my MM wheels and trims but would think the other Farmall red they offer would be more like Horse color. You can get the Cub Cadet type colors for the wheels there also. Paint dries in minutes, including the primer and can be done faster than others. Shine holds up good and good wear resistance. Biggest set-back is the nearly $12 price for rattle cans. Qts. can be gotten for $20 to $25 tho and good buy if you can spray. Need their thinner tho, is Xylene, reg thinner won't cut it at all to clean up.

:WRS: I live in lower MI and have near 100 parts tractors so I'm sure I can help you out, and you will have to change a lot to get the flip up fender, a parts tractor would be best, I can set you up with one of them also.

This tractor is a '63 model. I'm not sure the precise year this fuel pump was installed... but I'm hoping after this $10 rebuild, it should be good for another three or four decades too.

Just thought I'd update my progress. All of the painting is done, and assembly is coming along. Here is a teaser of what's been going on in the Maynard shop during the past week.

Well, the Teccy in mine runs perfectly, and it gets the job done. And my dad has a 20+ year old Briggs generator that always fires on the first pull. But I can't really have an opinion because I haven't used a Kohler.

:scared-eek: That's a beast, I like it! It would be neat if you built a hood extension to close the gap, but other than that I think its a tuff looking ! Matt :flags-texas:
