2 pointsi hope im not speaking too soon here, but it doesnt leak. everything works as it should. found a trans plate decal that i got from terry, so i blasted the rust off the trans plate and painted it today along with the brake arm assembly and the fan guard..... after a few minor adjustments it was off for a ride....... heres the finish up pics...... fabbed up fan guard.. decal install... first i wet sanded the powdercoat on the decal side of the plate to try and flatten all the rust pitting, then i got my trusty squeegee tool, some window cleaner and the decal for the install..... sprayed both the plate and decal back side with window cleaner and applied the decal. once positioned central, then you need to squeegee all the window cleaner out from between the decal and plate. working from the center out push all the bubbles and window cleaner to the edges. watch that you dont push too hard and scratch the decal surface. cut out the center piece and bolt holes when decal is dry and install on tractor..... all done, drives great, no leaks and the shifter and brake lever assembly is more user friendly.

2 pointsAMC/Jeep made such a great product, too bad their upper management sucked so bad. Can you imagine how many of us would be retoring these little Jeeptrac's now? I mean... 's are very cool as is, but incorporating Jeep's design cue's into our beloved little tractors would have certainly put them over the top. No brainer there, they're too cute. Thanks to the tractorchick for reposting the article for us here on .

1 pointalright so i posted up in the implement section that i picked up a GT-14 tiller the other day for cheap of CL. I've always wanted to build a cat 0 3 point hitch for my 1054 and this seemed like a good excuse to finally get it finished. I plan to build this whole thing from scratch and without doing any permanent modifications to the sheet on my 1054. I have already gotten some .5 x 2 bar stock for my lower links and the bearings should be here today for those. right now my biggest issue is how to get a top link mounted to this tractor. For those who know the 1054 they know there isn't anything but sheet metal above and around the rear end so i need to come up with some sort of bracket to mount the top link off from. I have been playing around with ideas in my head and have settled on this one based on fit in the limited space i have. the lower mount is similar to the GT14 setup but from there it needs to be pretty specific to the 1054. Since there is really nothing to bolt the top link to i used the lower bracket and extended it up to make some towers with a platform that extends out just under the tool box for the top link. i then added gussests from just below the top link down to the existing lift hitch for added support. as for lift, i plan to keep the lift hitch in the rear and make a "T" bar that fits in there with links attached to lift with. So as of now there is no down force, just lifting. as for right now i feel pretty good about the vertical forces of lifting and weight, however, should i be worried about the horizonal forces when pulling an attachment? there is a single bolt on the top of the transmission that i could potentially tie in to here are some pictures of the tiller sitting behind the tractor, i plan to just mount a small engine on the tiller so i don't have to worry about running a huge belt all the way from the engine PTO I was hoping to get to the bracket this weekend but its going to be a busy one so we'll see. maybe sunday afternoon. hope to at least get all my materials together by then Justin

1 pointHey everyone, here is the article that we ran in LAGT, Volume 3, Issue 5. A lot of controversy about this. Very interesting story though. Enjoy!

1 pointWell I finally got around to this tractor. It turned out pretty good. I had this for sale on my website before I did anything to it and didn't get any takers. I did one of these last year and sold it. I had to rewire this and I haven't painted the front wheels yet. I have repainted the engine since I took these pictures. I need to get some updated pictures yet after I paint the wheels. New paint, new decals, new battery and wiring.

1 pointI Bought a 1974 B-100 a few weeks ago. Here are a few pictures. I bought it from the 2nd owner who had it for last 8 years. I am going to use it as a worker for now. Everything works well and the tractor was always maintained both owners actually kept all the records. Besides the 37" snow thrower and tire chains it also comes with a 36" side discharge deck. The tires are original too. I plan on cleaning it up, buffing and painting a few of the parts that need it. I'll post some more pictures when I'm done.

1 pointThere is a tractor show in Mansfield Ohio this weekend, at the Richland County Fairgrounds. This is usually a good show to attend. I will have 3 or 4 WH's there and my buddy Packrat will have 3 or 4 there also, one will be his Dual Engine 7763 with High and Low Range tranny. I know a couple of WH guys will be there and I hope to see any fellow Redsquare guys there too! I will be there on Saturday only but it runs all weekend. See ya there! KJ

1 pointMy Dad hired out on the Erie Lackawanna(EL) line as a brakeman when he was 19 years old. By the time he retired, had worked his way up to the engineers seat. Was an engineer through the entire Consolidated Rail(Conrail-CR) days, and ultimately retired in 2000 from Norfolk and Southern(NS). My Dad had many opportunities to break into railroad management, but couldn't bring himself to give up what he loved doing most...driving them trains. That man worked the rails his entire life long, God rest his soul. I miss my Dad.

1 pointI want one too! It looks like it's the super C-195 WH frame.
