This past weekend I used a couple of my tractors to prepare my new garden. I needed to move the location of my garden due to the purchase of a new piece of land next to my current property and the plans for a new building to go near/in the location of the old garden. The new garden is approxiately 30ft by 50ft. On Saturday, I used one of my 520H’s and 12†moldboard plow to first plow the area. Then, on Sunday I used my C165 with 36†rear-mounted tiller. Some pictures below for your enjoyment. The Workin_Horses…. 520H with 12†moldboard plow, custom made quick attach weight rack on front C165 with 36†tiller, custom made quick attach weight rack on front The New Garden.... Before I started - Area for the garden mowed short After Plowing complete First pass of tilling After First pass of tilling complete After third pass of tilling… Now to let it set a few days and then run the tiller through it a couple more times before planting

IIRC, the last video was at night, and you were plowing the sidewalks in near white out conditions. Could barely see the sidewalk, only the headlights of on coming traffic. Was nice to see Mr. Steve's neighborhood in the light of day this time.

Well I was talking to ole Stevasaurus last night, and somehow we got talking about Philmont Scout Camp in New Mexico. We started sharing stories, I am only 20 years old, I went when I was 16. Steve went there many moons ago (more than I can count and more than he wishes to disclose ). We were curious as to how many other red square members have gone there also. For those of old, who have gone and wish to be reminded of what they saw, here is a link to the photos that I have from when I went. From the beginning of my journey to the end and over the tooth of time. The pictures are not in any particular order and are from various parts, including Pikes Peak, and the USA Olympic training center in Colorado. http://s1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb356/silveradostud/Philmont/ Please share your stories! -Charles

Here is one of our newest members with his new horse. He bought Big Jim's 1998 314-8 today. He too will soon be hooked.... Hope you enjoy that machine David ! It was nice meeting you and your 5 year old son today. I see a need for you to find a nice little round hood for him....

was just going through my photobucket account and realized while most of you have seen pics of the inside of my garage when im doing work on the s nearly all of you havent seen how it got that way..... the building is 24 x 40 x 10, walls are 2 x 6 old straight lumber salvaged from an old warehouse that was on the now vacant block next door. truss roof. i dont have any digitals of the foundation and slab pour, only from when we started framing. jeanine and i did everything except the slab and electrical load center install, the trusses were pre fab but we flipped them up just the two of us, some days trying to convince her we werent crazy was hard. it definitely brought a close marriage closer.....anyway enjoy the pics...... alright i need a rest for 5 minutes...........

Craig always has something to add, whether it's a word of encouragement, a compliment, something humorous or just letting you know he's reading your post. I think ...all things considered, we should give him the Honorary Title of " Ambassador"

Charles, it was a pleasure talking with you last night...until 3:00AM my time. All of my pictures are 35mm slides (I need to convert them to digital). I think RMaynard and I have talked about this before also, but I did not know what year he was going to go. Funny, he and I are the same age and 1964 was the year that I went. Dang, if he would have gone, I might have crossed paths with him way back then. Boggles the imagination. One thing for sure, if any of you guys have kids in scouts, or are in scouts yourselves, it is the trip of a lifetime. You have to go. :) :)

Never made it to Philmont either. But I also did the Appalachian trail for 50 miles. Ended up at New Caledonia State Park. Our troop (1012) took 1 week to do the hike.Best trip ever.We hiked Forbes Trail and Warriors Trail as conditioners for it. That was in the early 70's. Great pics, you can never take enough on a trip like that! Was that a cogged railway? The scenery is fantastic. That railway, is the ride up to Pikes Peak if you are not driving! Very rickety and slow! But nice views! FYI there is approx 900 photos uploaded on there! And yet there is many more. I didn't want to break photo bucket! lol

I was all set to go to Philmont back in 1964 (when I was 14), but as my luck would have it, I came down with the flu and never got to go. My brother who is now 63, has been twice, but only as the scoutmaster of his troop. His last trip was at age 59. Wish I could have gone. My biggest adventure was a 50 miler on the Appalachian Trail.

I think it is page G1 to G7, been so long ago but remember buying BUNA RUBBER NITRILE O-RINGS & WASHERS, square backup washers. EDIT: I guess you knew how to get to the pages,,Duh I clicked on printable catalog and then to Section G - CYLINDER SEALS, Polypacks & U-Cups & Vees, O-Rings & Backups, Metric & Inch that will open a .pdf file for you..If you have ID , OD and cross section (thickness) it should be in the list. I call them the first time I ordered, and told them what I was looking for, The service and info they gave was really helpful, at that time anyway :1-800-228-9222 www.baumhydraulics.com FULL package ONLY on o-rings and backup washers See Page G9 for quantities Sorry I cant be more help, Tim

I'm a classic car buff and I got to use some of this 2 years ago and now this is all I use for the show cars. I have 2 cars (68 Chevelle (14 coats of House of Kolor Candy Rasberry and 29 Model A Roadster) and they come out great with this stuff. Many times at a show other owners ask what do I use and I tell them and later when I see them they all are using it now. I have tried many others before (still try new stuff) but the best for detailing is the Lucas Slick Mist (remember to shake well before using), also one last note don't have it around the house as your wife may try it and then she will not give it back as she will love it for around the house.... Morning Stephen, I have been thinking about a kinda "power boost" system, one that's adds extra pumping pressure to my lever set-up rather than a vacume system.. I'm hoping it won't been needed though.. I am seriously thinking of ordering a couple of bigger master cylinders, with 5/8" bores rather than the current 1/2" set-up. They should shift a bit more fluid However, the maths says my current system should be more than up to the job, so I'm going to have a play with the levering situation today to see if I can get it working.. To tide you over until the next update, here's Episode 27 to keep you going.
