After 9 months of complications, sickness, and long hospital visits, my wife delivered our sweet, pettit little girl yesterday weighing 7lbs 13oz. As soon as we get home she will be initiated in all these Wheel Horse and will soon be accompanying my 23-month old son on rides (or "wides" as he calls them). She was born very healthy and happy and rarely cries. We were able to sleep almost the whole night last night which is amazing to us since our son cried furiously for hours and hours after he was born as well as all through the night! But he is an avid Wheel Horse lover now so it's all good Please welcome her into "our" life......

The Squaw and I took a quick 78 mile trip this morning and came home with this C-175.It's the first black hood that I've bought.17 horse Kohler twin seems to run nice.Hydro seems good and strong too.Somebody played electrician with it.Soon as the key is turned to run,its turning over.Starter keeps running once the engine is running.Anyone got a wiring diagram or know where to find one here?BTW,this must be a really rare tractor.The entire hood is black.Even the decals.Nice paint job.Haha.

HI EVERYONE, PICKED THIS C160 UP IN CT. FROM ANOTHER RS MEMBER. MY FRIEND MARK PAINTED THE HOOD AND FENDERS AND ADDED FIVE COATS OF CLEAR, NEW DECALS AND NORMAL MTNC. THE STORY FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS THE TRACTOR HAD BEEN IN STORAGE FOR 19 YEARS. SPINDLE AND STEERING VERY TIGHT. DAVE WANTED A STACK EXHAUST SO LOOKING AROUND THE GARAGE I USED AN OLD HARLEY MUFFLER. EXHAUST SHOP MADE THE 90 DEGREE RADIUS ELBOW. I FABBED A BRACE AND GAVE THE TRACTOR TO MY SON-IN-LAW. I am having the same kind of day. My wife is working today, so I had the day to myself. I turned the heat up to 60 in the shop, found a flat surface that I had not previous abused, and set about to clean and prep my K-181 for paint. That was at 8:30am this morning. It's now 2:30pm, 6 hours later and I feel like nothing major has been accomplished. First, my daughter and 2 grandsons came by to wish me happy birthday. All the 3 year old wanted to do was push the button to open the overhead door. Dude, it's only 38 degrees outside. Propane isn't cheap. So after they went home, I realized that I was out of acetone and engine primer, so off to the store. Get back and now I'm hungry. Fixed some lunch, sat down and cruised RedSquare. Went back to the shop and stared at the engine some more, took off the head and cleaned some carbon. Realized that I had to pee, so back into the house and here I am. Kelly, I feel your pain man. Warm weather cannot come to soon. :icecream:

I just wanted to share what it was I did with your measurements Bob. It's not exactly the same because I couldn't find the steel stop buttons (I found them, but didn't need 500 of them and that's the only way they're sold because they're regulated by the Government for the aviation industry ), but I believe that it will function like the OEM design.

All I can say is the little alum. peerless trans in the 800 special will not take that for long, not sure if he broke it in the end or not.

I did it all after I read these posts. Used surpluscenter to get the pulley. The info definately helped but I wasn't able to get the calculator thing to work right. Because I put a different motor in it & it not being in the origional place, I don't have a belt guard. (I know, dumb idea). I'm hoping this summer, after I add an extension to my shed, to cut down the existing beltguard and mod it to work with the new motor. but I'll need to figure a way to set things up to work with the origional 5" and the newer 7.75". I'm going to use the origional 5" in winter when I have the plow on it. Or, give it a year or two and I'll leave my 1057 regular and change things on my David Bradley. I'm always changing something on my "toys".

This will come as NO surprise to any of you and it's been said countless times but I think it's important for everyone to realize just how important this is. As I write this I want you to think about who this is and and at the end click on the spoiler and see if you're right. It's refreshing to see people continuing to give and this individual gives on a daily basis. You never hear the word no, never I can't do it and never a no answer. He's constantly bombarded with requests for this, requests for that and manages to get it all done all the time. I know when ever I have needed something, this guy not only steps right up, but gets it done in short time. EVERY single one of us are reminded every time we come here about the work he does and it's easy to take for granted. You see only a portion of the work, this guy is very active in other activities as well, and important things, things that go unnoticed by so many people. When we began the Max Nunn book raffle he was one of the first to donate, he's always one of the first to donate, he's always there ALWAYS. This morning I work up, got my coffee and do what I always do and check to be sure that RS survived the night (it always does). We had a spammer who reported a post, and I got a receipt about a PayPal donation. I opened the donation and it wasn't very large, but the note associated with it brought a tear to my eye. Here's what it reads: Let me say this again: By now of course you know exactly who this is and it's no surprise is it? Understand this. The world is filled with all sort of crap, but it's also filled with this as well. He doesn't need to do this, he's not making loads of money off of any of you. Heck, most times he just sits quietly on the forum and DIDN'T even have a Wheel Horse until recently! I don't know why he does what he does, but like I mentioned in Neil's thread, THESE are the people to look up to and I for one surely do! Thank you! Not just for the logo's, the decals, the graphics, the dedication you put forth, the caring in the quality of your work, but Thank You for the kindness and honesty that we have become accustom to when ever dealing with you. I do not take that for granted, and it is very appreciated what you do.

First come first served for both the camper area and the tent area. Tent campers are allowed in the #2 circle area and in the red circle area in the upper left of the photo, Trailer and camper vehicle camping is allowed in the center #1 area and the periphery of the #1 and #2 campsite areas. The only available power sites are in the #1 area. If you have both a camper vehicle and a trailer, the camper can go in the powered area, but your trailer must be parked in the parking lot area. This allows for the maximum number of payed electrical spots without hogging up the room of the powered areas. Since the show gets bigger in attendance with each passing year, the campers usually start lining up around 6am (EDIT: on Friday Morning) to get he choicest spots. Some of us get there rather early and could always save you a spot in our normal campsite. :hide:

You should be fine, but if not- it can also run it from the PTO with a mechanical pump. I used a 4-roller "Silver cast" roller pump from Hypro, and a 25-gallon tank setup from Northern Tool:

OK so the 3-point part is pretty well worked out. Now I had to get the clevis hitch done, and test it out. My welding isn't so great, but I bet the house they won't come apart! With the clevis hitch in place, the 3-point adapter needed to be notched to fit over it. Before: After: So it will fit like this: I decided to add 4 slots for scarifers. I may never use them, but the slots are there if need be. And I braced up the center of the blade with some gussets: And here's the test fit on the unfinished 867 with a clevis hitch. Forgot to put the wheeled carrier on, since this is when it would actually be used: Surprisingly, this heavy thing is fairly easy to lift manually: More to come as it gets done!

WOW! Not a big JD fan, but you gotta admit the wall of green on that trailer is an impressive sight. Love the aluminum rims, anyone know a source for 'em? :wh:
