What I didn't show on my exhaust stack Engine Run was what I had hidden under the yellow rag. I have procured the Parts and fabbed some and have put together a remote oil filter Kit for the Onan P220G Engines. The Oil Filter on these presently blocks approx 35% + of the airflow to the rear Cylinder? Could this be part of the reason for the Valve Seat Problem Due to the increased heat? what I do know it sure doesn't help. spending a good majority of my life dealing with Heat Transfer of one type or another I can see where the filter is located on these engines, could cause a problem. The pluses to having a remote mounted oil filter would be. 1. Increased Oil Capacity 2. Increased Filter Capacity (Larger Filter) 3. Broader Range of Filter Availability. 4. Easier Filter Changing. 5. Reduced Rear Cylinder Temperature's. The Oil Filter adapter Part (4) on the drawing below # 122-0369 is No Longer Being Offered Since Nov 2010. Onan told me that Is when they quit Offering These and their last price before that time just for that Part # 122-0369 was over $200.00. To purchase all the parts to make up one of these kits would cost around $ 450.00 I currently found an Onan Dealer that had the adapters and I have purchased all that he had. What I have left is 12 of these adapters, and will be putting together 12 complete kits to convert these engines oil filters over remotely. I will be selling these Kits for $285.00 for a Wix/Nappa Gold filter or $300.00 For an Amsoil Filter with Nano Fiber Technology filtering down to 20 microns. Just the These prices includes shipping. If anyone wants just the Oil Filter Adapter Part (4) it will be $175.00 Shipping is Included and I will ship the adapter Immediately. Here is what you will Get in the Kit 1 Oil Filter Adapter 1 Oil Filter Adapter Gasket 2 1 1/4" Bolts. 2 1/2 X 3/8 300 PSI push on barbed fittings. 2 1/4 X 3/8 300 PSI push on barbed fittings. 10' 3/8 300 PSI Braided Hose 1 Filter Blank off with Oil Line Holes 1 Remote Oil Filter bracket & Hardware 1 Oil filter as explained above. Anyone Interested in this Kit for the price above, PM Me.They will be offered on a fist come first serve basis.sometime early spring before mowing season starts. If no interest shown, Not a problem Ill put them on flee bay, but not for this price. Here are some Pics and examples of how much the oil filter blocks the airflow to the head and the components and the increased size of the filter & finally a Movie of it Opperating.

Not the prettiest but it does the job. Didn't cost me anything to build, being a packrat came in handy with this one. The hitch came off a rusted up Suburban that was on its way to the scraper. I used 4 flat bars I had that was the perfect length to replace the top rear hitch plates and down to the rear end housing. The drill press came in handy and had to grind down the plates to get close enough to the rear end hitch hole in the differential. Some washers and the right length/size all thread and it is as strong as it could be.

Gary I got to meet your Dad several years ago. We used to have a Wheel Horse dealership we ran out of are farm in Northwest Indiana. While I was young on summer vacation from school I got recruited to help assemble new tractors from the crates. One day I was busy assembling and in walked Cecil with sales rep. Guess Cecil was making the rounds to some of the dealers that day. My Granddad introduce them to me and said that he recruited me for some extra help because sales were up. Cecil then spoke up and said " Good work for the young man, helps the family out and keeps him busy in the summer." Boy did my Granddad jump on that and the next few summers and school breaks I was working at are dealership along with farm work.

A big thumbs up to History. If Americans were better schooled about History, I would think that America would not be in the trouble that we have gotten ourselves into (both parties). Spending ourselves rich, deficit spending, printing money, expanding government "make work jobs" for votes have historically never worked. Capitalism, Free Enterprise, and Small Business made America great, not Government. I pray we make it back before we kill the Golden Goose. I agree with all you have said Mr. Pond and I respect you very much for it. I am 15 years old, and I worry about what kind of future I will have if America keeps going down the road that we are traveling. I think that one of our former Presidents said it best: " Government is not the solution to our problem government IS the problem". Yet, it is hard for so many people in Washington to understand this principle. They think that government can solve everything, but as you and I both know, it cannot. I just hope that the American people will change the direction our country is going before it is too late. I also feel and strongly believe that we return to the principles that our country was founded on, we will return to greatness once again. It is up to each and every one of us to make sure that we return to greatness. I am only 15 years old, but I am going to try to do everything that I can to help return America to what she once was and what she can be again. Taylor

Being retired and not much to do out side, I look at my hitch and desided to make a a few changes. Here I cut off the braces and cleaned up the area. Then I welded it back together, and added some paint. While I was taking things a part I got a few more. I added another piece of steel welded them up and shot a little paint on them. This is what I ended up with. I could have put the other hitch on if I had a couple more hands and a lot of patience, but having neither I left it off.
