I think it's important to remember that Joe isn't the sick individual who committed the crimes against helpless members of our society. When approached with the info, he did what he was supposed to do, and reported it to the authorities. I know I have made many bad decisions in my lifetime, I can only pray that society wouldn't condemn me to death for one of them. These are not my only thoughts on the subject, just some of the better one's that have come out of the grieving process for these children. I couldn't imagine how difficult it must be raising kids in our society today.

There should be no honor for someone that hid the hellish things that Joe Paterno did.... The fact that he put football and his career ahead of who knows how many childrens lives being wrecked by his assistant coach shows the true human being he was. Getting caught at the twilight of his career is what did him in..... He probably saw the goal line (no pun intended) and thought he had skated through the whole deal and was going to be immortilized as the greatest college football coach ever. To him I say Karma is a ***** and he went "home" to face his maker. Tony
