    Alright guys. I have no painting skills, no welding skills and no fabrication skills. I love seeing posts of guys who have brought a rusty hulk back to showroom shape but never have one to show myself so.... lets post up some pics of yer rusty, cobbled up, homemade, mis-matched but loved machines! Lets keep this for machines that are still in service. This is a chance for us rusty tractor owners to show off our junk and brag!! Here's mine. Its started out life back in 1966 as a 656. It ended up at my neighbors house and when I showed an interest in a short frame tractor he gave it to me. It was missing a motor, belt guard and a few other items. It sat outside uncovered for almost three years before it was moved to the garage for an inspection. I started out thinking I would restore it and did slap some paint on it but without those skills I mentioned in the beginning of this post it was gonna look crappy so.....it got a 5hp Honda yank start with a 3" drive pulley for just a bit more speed. The original tires/rims it came with were the skinny ones which were swapped out for 16x6.50x8's up front and 23x10.5x12's on the rear. The rears came off a GT-1800 so they are the nice deep rims and the rear thread is nice and flat. The aluminum light weight Honda doesn't help keep the front end down so 2 cast iron pipe flanges are bolted into each front rim. There's a trail in the woods behind my house that's about a mile long and I take the dog out on it almost everyday and probably 3 or those trips each week are done on this tractor. The Honda starts easy, sips fuel and if its idling I can hold a conversation on my cell phone. This winter she'll get rear weights and chains so I can still do the trail in the snow. Mike............

    Well after a visit to SteveBo's house tonight, I decided it was time to put the RJ-35 back together and at least enjoy it a little seeing it has been sitting dis-assembled for the last 2 years . At some point I will completely restore it but for now it will stay as it is. The engine has been completely rebuilt with all new internals and runs like new (Thanks again Charlie)! Worked till 11:00 tonight and time to call it quits. I hope to have it completely put back together and running within the next few days. I do want to have the hood welded back together soon. Somewhere in this tractors life, some moron cut the hood in half in stead of removing the steering wheel or shaft. They added four pieces of sheet metal to re-attach it. At least the cut is nice and straight and should look perfect once welded and ground down. I forgot to take pictures when I took it apart . Now I need to remember how the drive mechanism goes back together especially behind the hubs !

    Hello everyone, well we found more Wheel Horse on eba% and decided what the heck since in St Louis they are close so we bought it. She is pretty rough but think that we are going to do a useful restoration, pull her apart paint the outside and re-decal, then on the inside we are going to use the bedliner paint so Colby and toss anything that he wants in there. As you can see in the pics there are stickers on it but no Model tag by the spring bolt assembly so hope someone can tell me the approximate year...I am not sure what year it is from but want to get new stickers on it and didnt know it they are sold or if I should just get some from any year because not really looking to show or sell.     This is my short frame based "mutt", I built is similar to my 1055 useing the same spec K241 with the shallow oil pan, modified the belt guard & rear fender for the big block engines off set, added a rebuilt Raider 10 pinnion trans, 520H forward swept axle, 520H wheels all the way around. It's far from pretty, but everything came together & it works really good. It handles the 50" mid mount blade pretty good too. (edit...I should add that the parts I used to make this tractor were VERY rusty, E tank & paint do miracles)

    Okay Mike, here's mine. Started out with this...the remains of a B-80 and a C-160... Ended up with this. A cobbled together B-100 8-Speed. Now I know it's not a rusty pile of junk anymore, but it started that way. But my daily worker is this...

    I am not positive that it was produced "in-house" or if it was "subbed out", but there's no question that it's Wheel Horse. That design has to be the longest-running version ('64 to '82) of any trailer sold with their name on it and probably the most plentiful / popular too.

    Judging by the crappy newer "paint" on the tub (electrostatically-applied / lack of primer) and the decal style, it's probably a 1978 or 1979 dump cart. Try 87-05DC01 or 97-05DC01 for model numbers.

    That is one beatiful tractor but for 30K--- I could go to Vegas, gamble, drink, order up some fine women, pick up an old C series and then waste the rest of it. LOL

    I hope you got it! Yup! With a two-stage blower, you can't beat the price! Even if the motor is weak or on it's way out, the blower sells for about that price or more in PA. Good Luck and I really hope you can bring her back with you!
