ED  looks good , like the clean and used  stature of it , is that an oil slick finish on that ? that hood has the oiled sheen ,look , regularly wipe my horses down with a penetrating oil clean cloth , keeps the paint alive , pete

Rebuilt engine (bored 10 over... 46 years of mowing/plowing), replaced trans seals/oil, powder coated rims (local shop), new shoes all around, new clutch pulley, trans input pulley/key, new brake pad, reshaped hood from collisions through the years, new points and battery.  I didn't take it completely apart to clean, but 90%+ was).  Things I haven't done: steering tear down (works fine, just regreased), mule drive teardown/clean/inspect (may do that soon), attach-a-matic teardown/clean/inspect (may do that soon, too).  Currently working on mower deck (couple of small cracks to weld, missing small chunk to fix, rusty (might just do a oil bath on top, but should probably under coat it).  I've tried to keep it as original as I could, but there are some changes (seat, trans input pulley, tires).  Except for the tires, I still have all of the original parts that maybe I can fix up and re-use later on

Oh, and sprayed all metal parts with penetrating/rust preventative fluid!  and greased appropriately!

and a new, reproduction headlight lens (not original).  probably, forgetting a lot of things, but that's about it.

... added an hour meter so i can see how many i put on it since the rebuild ...

ED , thanks for the update , glad you are staying after it , that mule drive , bearing grease upgrade is easy , if you are planning that , done that on my 3 , also lucas greased the pto needle bearing , and a few other related , pto lever issues ,  that oil rub down is so easy and worth it , been doing it forever. stay oily , pete .
