This sales brochure features the 1987 models but has the 420-LSE on both the front and rear covers.
Page two has a short summary of the starting of Wheel Horse Products, Inc. in 1947.
40th anniversary celebrated with model 420-LSE
Several pages have cut-aways of steering, transmissions, and deck spindles.
Introduced the 2-stage snowblower supplied by Bervac or Ber-Vac model P6-38ST01.
First use of the Kohler Magnum engines was the 1986 308-8 and 420-LSE. Then the 1987 Kohler powered models.
Bulletin 052086 is likely Tuesday May 20, 1986
The original 1986 operator manual #810399R1 was reprinted to reflect the correct revised engine oil capacities for the low oil circuit added to the starter wiring in single cylinder Kohlers. No 20hp engine listed.
The revised 1986 operator manual #810437R1 with the correct oil capacities shows the 420-LSE with the M20 engine.
