    Share with us what you Sundstrand transmission is doing or not doing. Those Sundstrands are rebuildable.

    Lots of Friendly help here along with a little fun.

    A quick scan of our model number list here, which also shows which Sundstrand unit was used, didn’t show me a 90-2027. Like I said quick scan. What model tractor is this in? Pictures?

    I'm about ten minutes away in Peru MA. I have a C160 with a sundstrands  transmission in it. I do not know the history of the tractor because I bought it with lots of other WH stuff and two other tractors. 

    The motor is tired and needs a rebuild the transmission when I first got the tractor running would not back up hills. After running it for guessing two or three times around the yard every time I needed to move it to get at something else the transmission started working as it should. I did put a new head gasket on around the same time. That C160 was one I wanted to save as a worker, have a motor rebuild but with my health situation I've been considering moving what WH stuff I have left and getting a new Kubota garden tractor. I've never been good at selling and haven't been able to end my forty year love affair with wheel horse.

    i have a sunstrand tranny 90-1140.   not sure if that is compatible with your needs.  maybe someone more knowledgeable can provide some more info.

    then on the right hand side  click on 'automatic/hydro'

     

    there you will see daveoman's tutorials
