    I was hoping someone in Maine might have a side discharge deck that would fit a GT 1600 with the Tach-A- Matic, 

    I have some other model W H part tractors with decks I can trade?

    just curious, if you have mower decks from other wh tractors, why don't you use one of those decks?

    most are rear discharge, Only one is side it does not have the holes for the attachment brackets. Would you know if the bar that hooks in the Tach-A-matic are all one length or are different lengths? I found one in northern Maine, But the bar looks longer in the picture.

     i am not expert on every tractor model and mower deck but i was always under impression the lift carriage assembly was the same --- the administrators here on RedSquare can answer your question -- you can also go here to menu tool bar and go to the Interchange charts on attachments -- -that will tell you all the compatability of every deck with every tractor model - if you have a deck then install it under your tractor for compatabilty
