The O-ring of the RAM of my #6618 Hyd lift cylinder leaks...a lot. The CLEVIS is welded to the Ram Rod...can't get the clevis off. So, I can't use my method to stop the leak with an outer O-ring seal. I'd like to find cyl #6618 as from Chargers, Bronco 14, or early C-160, or B-100 automatics. Even if it leaks, I'd consider buying it as I have a repair method (shown below).
Can anyone here on Red Square provide me with a suitable replacement HYD CYLINDER. The OEM #6618 cyl BODY is about 10" long and the fully extended length is 16-17". The cylinders from a 520-H or 300-400 series are too short. However, a cyl from an early 1976-77 C-160...the type rebuildable by opening the end...will be suitable.
In this pic, type A, B, or C will suit my needs. Style 'D' is too short.
