    Runs well.  Drives well.  Shifts smooth.

    The original H60 Tecumseh gave up and has been replaced with 420 Predator.  Hood has not been cut.  Comes with 32" rd mower deck.  $500 obo

     

    Willing to sell without Predator for $300 obo.

     

    Have owned for 30 years.  Selling because I upgraded to a new subcompact.

    from what it looks like the exhaust pounds out on the hood is that right? or does it barely clear the side

    The Predator muffler as well as the valve cover prevents the hood from being installed.  I do have a straight pipe stack exhaust for it.  But the hood would still need to be longer to extend past the valve cover.

    That's correct.  It would need extended about 4 inches forward.

    is that the only place the engine mounts? doesnt seem even a 212 would fit

    I mounted the engine so the output shaft is in the same location as the original H60 so the belt guard and mower drive belt were not affected.  I have not looked into the dimensions of a 212.
