After 45 plus years of rebuilding kohlers I’ve decided that in January 2026 I’ll will no longer be rebuilding them.  I rebuild single cylinder Kohler K and Magnum series engines k181, k240, k301, k321, k341, M8, M10, M12, M14 and M16. Long blocks starting at 650.00 depending on model and application (wheel horse, Deere, cub cadet, ford, Jacobson, gravely, economy).

If I don’t have your specific engine in stock I can rebuild your engine. 8-10 day turnaround for 295.00 labor plus machine work and parts. I don’t cut corners with my rebuilds.

I no longer stock or rebuild twin cylinders or K91’s and k171’s

PM me with any questions and get on the schedule so I can get you done within the next 12 months.

How much would it cost for you to build a hot little k181?

Pm me or leave a number. I don’t know what you mean by “hot little”

Bore it out maybe 0.030 over put a cam in it and some oversized valves if you can. I would do this but I don’t have the equipment.
