:WRS:    A good running 520 with a deck for $900 is a great deal. If the photos are on your computer just click on "Choose Files", pick the one you want and it should load, then click on the +.

Thank yall. For the warm welcome. I used to ride an older Wheel Horse around the lake house it was from the 60s. I always wanted one as an adult.

Looks good.  If the engine runs nice, and the hours aren't too bad, I would jump on it for $900!

The board under the seat will twist the crap out of your seat pan.

If you are a fat old man like me, I would get the seat mounted the right way before you and gravity do more damage!

I saw the piece of wood they used it to prop the seat up cause the piston arm is old and wore out. I removed it, But the springs are bare metal i have a solution for it  4'' neoprene pad caps should keep the springs from digging in. do you think that's an original seat with arms on it?

Those coil springs are just for the seat switch. If you remove it or it does not work then you can take those off and just leave on the rubber pads.

As for the gas spring that holds the seat up, use a Strong arm F4673. You can get it for much less than the Toro one and it works as good if not better.

The arms are probably original, but there is no way that is an original 28 year old seat.

I think the original seat had "TORO" in raised letters on the back.

By the way, nice bass!

that's what i was thinking but the man said it was all original. He mowed the grass with it at his church. I don't see how it would have lasted that long if was original. and thanks i go just about every weekend to hook some large mouth and spot bass

Let  me help you out with that edit TDF  "you CAN"T have just one....

Nice 520 bythe way and I don't think you said how many hours are on it? do a search here on 520H and you will find all kinds of maintenance tips and :WRS:

This is the gas spring you need http://www.liftsupportsdepot.com/strong-arm-4037-gas-charged-universal-lift-support-strut-10432w/ Real PITA if you don't have one when fueling.
